Be the person you'd want to meet.
The short version: be kind, be real, respect privacy, no hard selling, and tell us if something's off.
1. Lead with curiosity
Everyone here is mid-chapter. Ask about people, not just their job titles. Nobody owes anyone an explanation of their career situation.
2. Be generous, not salesy
Share what you know, make introductions, give honest feedback. Don't use the Clubhouse to pitch, recruit into schemes, or mass-message people. If someone wants what you're selling, they'll ask.
3. Say hello like a human
A good hello mentions something real from their profile and says why you'd like to talk. If someone doesn't say hello back, that's their call: don't chase them through other channels. "Not now" is a complete answer.
4. Respect privacy
What people share in the Clubhouse stays in the Clubhouse. Don't screenshot, copy or export member profiles, and don't share someone's details outside the Club without their permission.
5. Be yourself, truthfully
An alias is fine. Pretending to be someone else isn't. Use a photo of you (or something that represents you) and keep your profile honest.
6. No harassment, ever
No hate, bullying, threats, sexual content, or unwanted romantic advances. "No" and silence both mean no.
7. Adults only
You must be 18 or older to be a member.
8. Look out for each other
If a profile or a message looks fake, inappropriate, or makes you uneasy, use Report or Block on their profile or in your conversation. The founders read every report, and the person isn't told who reported them. If someone is in danger, contact local emergency services first.
What happens if someone breaks these
Depending on what happened, we may ask you to change something, pause your profile, or remove you from the Clubhouse. We'd rather keep the Club good than keep it big.
